What happened to RezFox?
RezFox went down some time ago due to a major server crash. Since then we have been re-developing, re-modeling, re-grouping the spirit of RezFox. What we have in store for the future will be exciting and extremely fun, so please hold for the ride and join our community as we once again restablish and reclaim our #1 spot as the First Native American date site in the world!!!

What is Rezfox?
The purpose of RezFox.com is to make it as easy as possible for you to meet other First Nation/Native American people, as well as other groups using the power of the internet. At RezFox.com, you'll find a community of people using the site as a tool to make connections and find partners for dating, romance, friendship, and a variety of encounters. To find your match, we offer several powerful features, which allow you to narrow your search so that you are able to find exactly the kind of person you are looking for. On various occasions, we also add new features to make your time at RezFox a successful and fun experience.
Within your own online world you can also share photos, messages, chat online and build a new network of friends and more. You can also read and review public profiles created by others and enjoy studying and learning more about love, life and relationships. We also offer a fully comprehensive set of online dating features which will allow you to chat to fellow minded single people and find fun, laughter, love and long-term friends.
Rezfox is owned and fully operated by the Etribe Network, a First Nation Internet Company that strives for communication for Indigineous people's world wide. RezFox has been in existence since 1999 and we're proud of what we as a company has accomplished.
What is unique about Rezfox compared to a normal dating site?
Rezfox brings First Nations/Native Americans to the forefront of communication. We understand the need for our people to meet and network, which is why we created this fun and interactive site. We've had members from Canada to the United, to New Zealand.
What features do I have at Rezfox?

What are the membership requirements and what does it cost to join?
There are only two membership requirements:
* To join this site you must be over 18 years.
* You must agree to abide by our Terms & Conditions of Use.
Registration and profile creation is FREE OF CHARGE, so there is no cost for joining and trying out the site and all its many features.
Gold Membership is needed to send out messages and utilize some of our paid features.
When you upgrade to gold-membership by subscribing you can start to use all the features of the site. Subscription prices are:
* One month membership - $10.00 (US)
* Three month membership - $25.00 (US)
* Annual membership - $50.00 (US)
When will I be able to use the site? How soon after I have registered?
You will be able to navigate around most of the site as soon as you have completed the online registration form. Your profile will then be fully activated after it has been reviewed by one of our administrators, and after you have confirmed your identity by replying to the verification email which we will send you after you have registered. To be sure of receiving this email and any other correspondence from the site, make sure that your spam filter to enable email from Rezfox.com.

How do I subscribe to become a "Gold Member"?
Sign up for an account on Rezfox by completing a few basic questions - once completed you may want to setup and create a "Snaggin" profile to get yourself up and running and people interested in you and your profile. Once you feel your profile is completed and you would like to activate the features only applicable for "Gold Members" - then click the Subscribe tab.
The Subscribe page will show your current membership status with the option to become a "Gold Member" and what this allows you to do. Use the drop down menus to choose a payment plan, then choose the Paypal Option and then click the checkout button. Choose the Checkout button for one-off payments, or the recurring checkout button for repeat payments (Meaning your membership will be automatically renewed yearly so you do not have to worry about it).
How do I unsubscribe from been a "Gold Member"?
When you initially subscribe you will be given the option of a one-off payment or reccuring payment. If you choose the one-off payment you will automatically be reminded 28 days before your subscription is due to run out.. If you wish to end the subscription - this will happen automatically.
If you have taken out the reccuring plan - you will automatically be billed again at the given time period. If you wish to cancel the automatic renewal feature - please contact us at Billing. Unsubscribing from the automatic renewal feature need to be done 14 days before any automatic renewal of that payment is due, or Rezfox will not have enough time to cancel the payment and cancellation will only occur on the payment afterwards.

How do I edit my profile information?
Click on the profile tab. You will then see two profile tab options:
i. Edit Profile
Click on this option to change any of the content of your profile; your personal details, your free text area etc. Remember to save your changes! Click the Save button at the foot of the page. Here you will be able to create your profile sections "About Me" "About My Match" and "Essays" - REMEMBER THE MORE INFORMATION - THE MORE LIKELY YOU WILL BE TO GET RESPONSES
ii. Preview Profile
Click on the Preview tab to check how others will see your profile.
How do I temporarily suspend my profile?
There is a link at the bottom of your profile page. Click the link once to suspend the profile.
How do I reactive my suspended profile?
There is a link at the bottom of your profile page. Click the link once to reactivate the profile.
How do I remove my profile?
Click Profile and Edit Profile. At the foot of the page toward the left is the link ‘Profile Unregister’. Click the link once to remove your profile from the site. Beware that all reviews, information, pictures and data will be removed forever once you click this link.

How do I block/unblock a user from contacting me?
View the member’s profile and click on the Block link in the list of options in orange on the profile. The user will now be prevented from contacting you. To unblock a user - return to the members profile and click on the unblock user link in the list of options in orange on the profile. The user will now be able to contact you again.
How do I advertise my location to other members?
Here's a quick and easy way to announce your location to the rest of the site: Use the Tag feature on your profiles to add your First Nation or nearest major city or any other tags eg "RezFox "Snag"
For example, RezFox_man has added the tag 'Native' to his profile. If you click on the link Tabs in the top menu you'll see that Native appears in the list of tags. Click on Native and his profile is displayed.
Anyone who's Native and who tags their own profile in the same way will appear whenever the tag 'Native' is clicked in the lists of tags. You can do this for any tags.
How do I browse other members’ profiles?
Click on the Members tab to view 'Featured Members' and 'Who's Online'. You can also view top rated photos and members, and tags here. The Tags and Locations link will display any tags which often include counties and towns, so that's an ideal place to start browsing too. Also login and check out our chat rooms - you never know what you will find.
How do I search for other members?
Click on the Search tag and enter your search criteria. Leave any boxes blank if they are not relevant. Click the search button to view results. We recommend that you use only basic criteria first, and then gradually introduce more specific criteria.
How do I save the search criteria for another time?
To save the criteria to use again, click the Save this search link and give it a name. Your saved search will be available again the next time you visit the search page.

How do I upload photos?
Sign in then click on Home to reach your member homepage. Click on ‘photo’ in the sub menu that appears underneath the main tabs. On the next page click on one of the empty boxes to the right (“no photo”) and then use the Browse button that appears to find and upload a photo from your computer. Wait for the photo to upload. When complete you’ll see the photo in the larger box and a thumbnail to the right. You can add a description by clicking on the description link and adding some text.
You can also: Email your photo to us.
How do I add a description to a photo or make it private?
Sign in then click on Home to reach your member homepage. Click on ‘photo’ in the sub menu that appears underneath the main tabs. Select the photo by clicking on the small copy to the right so that it appears in the larger box. Click on the description link and add some descriptive text. To make a photo private you need to sign in then click on Home to reach your member homepage. Click on ‘photo’ in the sub menu that appears underneath the main tabs. Select one of the photos by clicking on the small copy to the right so that it appears in the larger box. Then click on the box marked "Private".
How do I change the primary photo?
Sign in then click on Home to reach your member homepage. Click on ‘upload photo’ in the sub menu that appears underneath the main tabs. Select one of the photos by clicking on the small copy to the right so that it appears in the larger box. Click on the ‘make thumbnail’ link and it will appear as your profile’s main photo.
How do I upload multimedia to my profile?
Sign in then click on Home to reach your member homepage. Click on ‘upload multimedia’ in the sub menu that appears underneath the main tabs. Enter a name for the clip and a short description then use the Browse button to find and upload the clip. Please note that clips should be no more than 2MBs in size.

How do I send a message to another member?
Click on the members profile photo and view the full profile. Click on the Send Message link, enter your message, then click on the Send button.
How do I send a virtual greeting?
Click the virtual greeting link and select one of the greeting options. There’s one to say you’d like to get in touch, another to send an apology, and another to express your admiration of the member’s profile.
How do I list an event?
Click on Events in the menu at the top of the page above the site logo. Enter the date of the event (or the date it begins if more than one day), the event location, and a brief description, then click the ‘create’ button. Submitted events will be reviewed before being made visible to other members.
What are tags and how do I use them?
Tags are keywords that you can add to your profile that highlight your main interests or what you’re looking for. You can search for each others tags to find people who have the same thing in common.
What are bookmarks and how do I use them?
View the member’s profile and click on the Bookmark link in the list of options in orange on the profile. The user’s profile will now be added to your list of bookmarks which you can review when you click the home link and examine your own profile area. To remove the bookmark, return to the member’s profile and click on the Remove Bookmark link in the list of options in orange on the profile.

How do I invite a friend to use this site?
Sign-in to your homepage - and on the bottom-right hand side of the screen you will see the box "INVITE A FRIEND" - Enter your friends email address into the box and click submit and an introductory email will be sent out to them inviting them o come and join the Rezfox experience. TRY IT NOW !!!!!
How is my privacy protected?
Rezfox does not share your information with any third parties. We advise all our members not to divulge any personal contact information to other members until they feel sure it is safe to do so. We advise our members to communicate with other members through the site using the various functions within it. By doing so you can enjoy communicating with others while maintaining your privacy.
Members are advised to use caution and discretion when adding personal information to their profiles. For example, if you would rather not reveal your date of birth or other information of this nature we suggest that you use alternatives. Use a fake date of birth and have two birthdays; one is your 'public' birthday and the other is your personal birthday.

How safe is online dating?
Online dating is just as safe as any other method of meeting people provided one takes sensible precautions, and understand that despite chatting, emailing, exchanging information - until you met them in a safe place you cannot be totally certain that person is the same as they appear.
* Initially communicate through this site.
* Don't give out any details about yourself (especially contact details) until you feel comfortable in doing so.
* Take your time. Don't rush into anything - If they are interested, time wont matter.
* If you feel you're being rushed by another member then slow it down or walk away. You're under no obligation to meet anyone or reveal anything you don't want to.
* If you feel concerned by a members activity on the site - please notify the Rezfox team immediately via our contact page.
* If you are feeling suspicious of anything a person says or how they are acting then make them aware and if they continue then end the dialogue. If necessary you can block members from been able to contact you.
* Ask for a photo. If the profile doesn't have one, ask them to add one, or ask them to send you one. When you receive the photo - look for authentication like additional people in the photo (Friends, Family) and if still unsure ask for another photo.
* If they are constantly sending you model-like photos you may want to air on the side of caution (Even models have friends and family photo)
* Before arranging to meet it maybe a good idea to chat on the phone first - our built in chat facility could help you.
* Ask your family/friends what they think, don't be shy to ask for a second opinion.
If you arrange to meet somebody through the site exercise the same caution as you would on any date. Be sensible and trust your instincts.
* Use your judgement and be responsible.
* Meet in a public place.
* Tell friends where you are going.
* Take a mobile phone with you.
* Do not pass on any contact information (e.g. your email address, phone number or home address) until you feel comfortable doing so.
* If your date presses you for this information walk away. By going on a date you are under no obligations to reveal more than you choose.
* If, for any reason, you feel uncomfortable during the date then leave.

We strongly advise all our members to keep their chosen browser up to date at all times. This will not only help to eliminate any bugs but will also improve your overall security whilst online.

2. Have you rebooted your computer lately? If not, do so and then return to the site and try the action again.
